Allison Moye, lac, ncc

 Allison is a general mental health therapist. She is skilled in working with individuals who are experiencing:

• depression
• anxiety
• parent-child relationships
• grief and loss
• trauma
• life stressors

Allison is experienced with working with all genders and sexual orientations. Allison works with the ages 13-75.  Allison requests that with adolescents, the caregivers be willing to partake in therapy as needed. 

**Allison only provides telehealth/video counseling**

Allison provides a warm, nonjudgmental, empathetic environment allowing the client to feel safe. Allison utilizes techniques from different therapeutic modalities to fit each individual’s needs. Allison incorporates techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma focused therapy, Dialectical Behavioral therapy (DBT), and Person-Centered Therapy. Allison also likes to include mindfulness approaches for her clients to utilize during and after sessions.  Additionally, Allison has received specialized training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). Allison graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology. Allison continued her education at the University of Phoenix where she obtained a Master of Science in Counseling/ Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Allison is currently a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and working towards her independent license. Allison has worked in different settings and with different populations throughout her career. I have worked in inpatient and outpatient settings with populations ranging from the age of 13 and beyond.  

Allison is a huge animal lover. She loves spending time with her 2 dogs (her fur babies). Allison is married and recently had a baby. Allison loves seeing her son grow and develop each day. Allison loves going back East and visiting her family (and eating all the delicious food). Allison loves going to Broadway shows and enjoys anything with music and dancing. In her spare time, Allison enjoys reading, coloring, swimming, and baking.
